McLEAN, Va. - Ghosts and goblins going door-to-door seeking treats this Halloween can add their local Doubletree hotel to the list of must-haunt locations.  For the seventh year, Doubletree Hotels continues its annual tradition of offering its legendary, freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies to anyone who walks into any of its more than 225 participating locations in the U.S. and Canada this Halloween.  No purchase is necessary.  People may simply walk into any Doubletree hotel between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2010 to be welcomed with a delicious, warm chocolate chip cookie, while supplies last. 

Even those not in traditional Halloween garb can shrill with delight as they are handed one of the hotel brand’s signature cookies oozing with chocolate chip morsels and bursting with crunchy walnuts - on the house, of course!
