Hotel Recognized Among the “Best of the Best” Within DoubleTree by Hilton
AUSTIN, Texas - The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin has been awarded three prestigious awards, The Crystal Cookie, Annual CARE Cup, and General Manager of the Year, by the DoubleTree by Hilton brand as part of its 2013 Brand Awards program, the results of which were announced last week.
The Crystal Cookie recognizes the DoubleTree hotel that best represents its "Teaching Kids to Care" community outreach program. DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin won this year due to the partnership established between the hotel and the neighboring Pease Elementary School, the oldest continuously operating public school in the state of Texas.
The Annual CARE Cup identifies the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin as the top performing hotel in the combined attributes of Guest Service, Team Member Relations, Corporate Responsibility, and DoubleTree Culture. DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin won this distinction in the small hotel division, or DoubleTree Hotels with fewer than 225 rooms.
Crowning a year of achievements, General Manager Joe Bolash captured the DoubleTree Brand's General Manager of the Year. Mr. Bolash was selected among the more than 300 DoubleTree Hotel General Managers worldwide for best representing the DoubleTree Brand Promise with guests, team members, and the community.
